Who we are

AnswerLoop (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for the personal information described here. We design and host websites and run Google review campaigns for businesses in South Africa. You can reach us at answerloop1@gmail.com or on 075 085 1102.

What this website collects

This website has no contact form, no login, no shopping cart and no analytics or advertising trackers. It sets no cookies of its own. Browsing it does not create a record we hold about you.

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — for operational security and to keep the site online. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.

What we collect when you contact us

The buttons on this site open WhatsApp, your email client or your phone dialler. Nothing is submitted through the website itself. When you get in touch, we receive whatever you choose to send:

• Your name and the name of your business
• Your phone number, WhatsApp number or email address
• What your business does, where it operates, and what you are looking for
• Anything else you include in your message

Why we hold it, and for how long

We use it for one purpose: to answer your enquiry, quote for the work, and — if you become a client — to build and run your website. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to 24 months so we recognise you if you come back, then deleted. Client records are kept for the life of the engagement and for five years afterwards, which is what tax and company law requires of us.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need to do the work, and only the part they need:

• WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, Google — because that is where your message arrives
• Vercel — hosting for this site and for the sites we build
• Your domain registrar — where a domain is registered in your name
• Google Business Profile — where you have asked us to manage your listing

Your rights under POPIA

POPIA gives you specific rights over the personal information we hold about you. You can exercise any of them by emailing us — there is no charge, and we will respond within a reasonable period:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
• Have anything inaccurate corrected, or anything irrelevant or excessive deleted
• Object to us processing it, on reasonable grounds
• Withdraw consent for marketing at any time, without affecting work already agreed
• Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you are not satisfied with how we have handled it

Security

We keep the information on password-protected, access-controlled accounts, and we limit who can see it to the people doing the work. No system is perfect. If a breach ever affected your personal information, we would tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Changes to this notice

We update this page when what we do changes. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading. This one is effective 1 September 2026.
