Terms of service

The terms we work under. Written to be read rather than skipped. Effective 1 September 2026.

What we provide

We design and build your website at no charge. There is no setup fee and no once-off design cost. Once it is live you pay a monthly fee, currently R350, which covers hosting, your domain, management and ongoing content updates.

Google review campaigns (R400 a month) and Google Business Profile setup (R350 once-off) are separate and optional. Neither is required to have the website.

What we need from you

We need your business details, your services, and any photos or content you want used. Most sites go live within 7 days of receiving those. Delays in getting them to us move that date, which is the only thing that usually does.

You confirm you have the right to use any logo, photo or text you send us, and that using it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

The monthly fee

The fee is payable monthly in advance and starts when the site goes live. If it goes unpaid for 30 days we may suspend the site until it is settled, after telling you first.

We will give you at least 30 days' written notice before changing the fee. You are free to cancel rather than accept an increase.

No lock-in, and what happens if you leave

There is no fixed term. Cancel any time by telling us in writing, and the service ends at the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund part-months.

Your domain is yours. If you leave, we transfer it to you or to whoever you nominate, at no charge. Content you supplied stays yours. We will provide a copy of your site content on request.

Because the build was free rather than bought, the underlying site code and templates remain ours and are not transferred.

What we do not promise

We build sites to be found, and we do the technical work properly. Nobody can promise a search ranking, a number of enquiries or a review score, and we do not. Google decides what it ranks and changes how it decides regularly.

We aim to keep your site online and available, but we depend on hosting, domain and network providers we do not control, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act. Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit.

Governing law and getting hold of us

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. If something is wrong, tell us first — most things get sorted out with a phone call. Email answerloop1@gmail.com or call 075 085 1102.
